My name is Effie Giatili-Vakaki. The creation of our brand, Ibo-Maraca, is a story of love and passion for handmade hats and artistic expression.

The idea came from my personal love for handmade hats, and especially genuine Panama hats from Ecuador. Thus, together with my daughter Christina Vakaki, in 2014, the idea of ​​hand-painted hats, created by excellent Greek artists, was born.

 We expanded into bags, also made from toquilla straw, from Ecuador, adding a new dimension to our collection. These bags incorporate the same attention to detail and artistry that characterizes our hats.

Then, we proceeded to create our silk resort wear collection, which is entirely manufactured in Soufli, the heart of silk in Greece.

The designs on the fabrics are inspired by our team and combine traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics.

 Each of our creations is a result of our love for natural beauty and the dynamic energy that nature exudes.

 In addition, art plays a decisive role in our creations. We are inspired by various forms of art, be it traditional handmade works or modern artistic trends.

 Finally, our inspiration comes from the women who wear our creations. We want to emphasize the diversity and uniqueness of every woman by offering accessories full of color and creativity, which reflect their personality and give them a sense of distinct style.
