Born in Athens, in 1971, she studied Business (BA Hons) and Management (MSc) in London. She attended courses in Philosophy of Mind at the University of Oxford and completed Drawing and Painting courses in Athens.
Before turning to art full-time, she worked in the advertising industry and the Organising Committee for the Olympic Games ATHENS 2004, while she also managed a boutique hotel complex in Naxos. She has been systematically working as an artist since 2011.
Her work has been presented in group and solo exhibitions in numerous galleries and contemporary art fairs around Greece and abroad. She has been awarded in international art competitions and, in 2013, she received the first prize in the Mitteleuropa Prix International Art Prize.
She considers herself an impulsive artist and is interested in painting what she feels, not what she sees. To her, the canvas is a space in which her mind can be totally free. One might say that abstract painting is her inner journey for searching her soul and rendering human emotions through colours, shapes and an array of techniques.
Her artwork is part of private collections in Greece and abroad. She lives and works in Athens.
