Leon of Athens may sound like Shakespeare, but this rising indie-pop star is writing his own heroic tale. His debut album 'Futrue' made headlines in Greece and in the USA, in the New York Times when he went from tiny venues to playing to 10,000 people in a few months, and was even invited to appear on Greece’s equivalent of “The Daily Show”.
He moved to London in 2012 and is on the cusp of releasing their new album 'Global', which was produced by Tony Doogan (Mogwai, Belle & Sebastian) and recorded in New York at Grammy winner Dave Fridmann’s studio (MGMT).
