• The Zebra Tracks named after the Young Marble Giants’ worst track of all time. The Athenian quartet blends and combines the sound of post punk and shoegaze defining a genre of their own.

‘Silicone Valley/ Borealis Fallacia’ double A-side debut single by BuySomeRecords in 2006 was followed by their self released eponymous EP in 2007. In 2009 the band with the support of Sonic Playground Records released their first full length and critically acclaimed LP titled ‘A Family Picture from… Zebra Tracks’.

Over the three years that followed Zebras dedicated time to some personal projects (Noise Figures, Sad Disco, Berlin Brides) but found time to perform around Europe with the likes of Placebo, Faith No More, Unkle, Yeasayer, Kaiser Chiefs, A Place To Bury Strangers, The Levellers, The Subways, Long Blondes, No Age, Good Shoes, Television Personalities, The Chap and many more.

In fall of 2011 the band released their singles ‘Isabelle Creeps’ and ‘Bicycles’. Both shown off as a foray to the fans and critics of the blogosphere into their latest LP Collective Guilt, which was released by Miami, FL independent label Limited Fanfare, Summer 2012 (N. America) and UNDO, Fall 2012 (worldwide).

Numerous live appearances, traveling and personal issues left Zebra Tracks more inspired to walk on new musical paths; Zebras entered their beach house - studio in late summer of 2013 for the recordings of their third album and after some months of hard studio work and surfing, the result was the self-released 4-track EP ‘Grains Of Sand’ (May 2014) and a daring 10-track album. From the My Bloody Valentine-sque ‘Mirage’ to the staccato dance stomp of ‘Indian Summer’ and the soaring, thematic ‘Grains of Sand’, Zebra Tracks have created a fully pedigreed, complete album, a complex mixture of post-punk and shoegaze music.

The album “Waves” was released in February 2015 by the brand new indie label Six DOGS Records.
