Eva Tzagaraki was born in Heraklion, Crete. She completed her studies in Painting at Thessaloniki's Faculty of Fine Arts (1999) and Interior Design at the Vocational Senior High School of Athens (1993).
In 2003 she commenced her artistic activity as a decorator-designer. Most recently, she is an art teacher in primary and secondary education, in the educational/theoretical seminar with the title “Art History – Greek Sculpture” at the ''Nikolaos Perantinos'' Sculpture Museum in Marpissa, Paros, as well as in several Institutes of Educational Training.
She participated in the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP) in 2001 in the field of Decoration and in 2014 in the field of Preschool Education, Activities, Creativity and Expression.
She curated the “Wanderings” exhibition in Larissa in 2006 (Cultural Organization of the Municipality of Larissa). Furthermore, she participated 42 group exhibitions in Greece and abroad, as well as the international exhibition with the title “Cow Parade Athens '06”.

She cooperates with publishing houses and has illustrated many books. Her published tales are “A tiny slot” and the “Elders Animals”. Later on she and her daughter Ariadni inspired the “Color-City”.
The promotion of our cultural heritage is a big motivation for her. It is the source of her inspiration. Her aim is to acquaint the younger generations monumental creations of Greek Culture through applications for museum exhibits. Her creations give emphasis in Greek culture, but she approaches them with a new modern look.

Some of her works are exhibited in the Cekirdek Art Atelier in Istanbul, in the “Hatzigianneio” Cultural Organization of the Municipality of Larissa, in the “Fimios” Association for the Municipal Cultural Events of Ithaca, in the Standard House for Juveniles of Perissos, in the “Tzaneio” Child Care Institution, in the “Xatzikonsta” Institution, in “Agia Varvara” Paidopolis, in many elementary schools in Heraklion of Crete and in private collections.
She lives and works in Heraklion, Crete.
